I am looking to form a panel for the Urban History Association
\nConference in October on the history of how grassroots activism changed in
\nthe inner city in the 1980s. Broadly speaking, the papers on this panel
\nexamine how and by what methods ordinary citizens have sought to address
\nurban issues.<\/p>\n
My own work examines the relationships and the obstacles that emerged
\nbetween inner city and suburban Catholics from the \u201cSharing\u201d program in
\nthe Archdiocese of Chicago in the 1980s. If you are interested, please
